Medical Transcriptionists listen to dictated recordings made by physicians and other health care professionals and transcribe them into medical reports, correspondence, and other administrative material. They generally listen to recordings on a headset, using a foot pedal to pause the recording when necessary, and key the text into our web based platform., editing as necessary for grammar and clarity. The documents they produce include medical history, physical examination reports and much more.

Medical Transcriptionists are expected to produce clean, neat and accurate medical documents for every medical report dictated and to follow guidelines common to the Medical Transcription field and AMCE's  guidelines.

 

Our transcritionists choose their own schedule and work around their availability.
